Music and Playing the drums

I played the drums for many years. I finally own an electronic drumset and a MIDI keyboard. These two tools, along with Cakewalk's SONAR, are enabliong me to write my own music (which I may eventually post here).

Star-gazing

I'm a member of the San Diego Astronomical Association, and I hope to own another quality telescope soon.

Running and other types of workouts

I started marathon training August, 1998. When I started I was barely able to finish a 5K. By the end of the year I was running 20+ miles and easily running 5K's and 10K's. My 5K time has dropped from 30 minutes to around 25 minutes. My goal for 5K's is currently 24 minutes. My goal for a mile is 6 minutes.
